You will need to make sure that your RAH profile setting is complete and updated (i.e., current status, date of birth, phone number, etc.). This aspect is vital because RAH work with student tenants, and this information helps prevent fake listings or rental scams.
Once your RAH profile setting is complete, you can request for a 30 days trial at . Click on the "Request For Trial” button. A trial coupon will be issued to your account via email within 24 hours.
When adding a listing, make sure to click on the "I Have Trial Coupon” button, which will allow you to publish one listing valid for 90 days. All other services will be available to use during this period.
Student-tenant accounts are verified automatically through their university email ID whereas housing providers account verification process is different.
In order to successfully setup your RAH housing provider account, you will need to provide the following information:
Property Address Social Security number (SIN) Valid bank details
Only housing providers are requested to verify their account in order to access free services. To verify your account, you will need to go to your . Click on on right top corner. It will ask for your bank account details, SIN and personal address. This information is confidential and it is only used to confirm that you are a unique and legitimate user. It is FREE to verify your account. If you do not wish you verify your account, you can opt for pay-as-you-go services once you create your account.
If you are a student, you do not need to verify your account.
We require identification to confirm that you are a representative of the business for which you are registering for. If you represent a Canadian business and do not feel comfortable providing your SIN / NAS, we are happy to take another form of government-issued identification.
You can not switch your account. You will need to deactivate the current housing provider account and then create a new account using your valid student email ID. This is necessary to maintain legitimacy of all users.
You can add an extra layer of security to your login account by turning on the RAH two-factor authentication. Enabling this feature prevents others from using your account without your authorization and keeps all of your information secure.
To enable the two-factor authentication, you will need to first download the Google Authenticator application in your device, then go to your and click enable two-factor authentication and scan the bar code with your device using the Google Authenticator application. The Google Authenticator application will prompt a code you can use to activate the two-factor authentication in your account.
RAH takes your account security seriously. You can request a temporary code by contacting us, and we will send you a temporary code you can use to log-in into your RAH account. It will allow you to reset or disable your two-factor authentication.
As a verified housing provider account, you have the right to report/claim your properties and our team will help you solve it. If the submitted review violates our policy, the system will not publish it. See policies.
Once your listing is published, only student tenant accounts will have access to your profile. Student tenants can send a viewing request via phone, email or RAH chat system. It is advised to all housing providers to keep their contact information updated all the time.
Only student users can initiate a request viewing through the request viewing button. Once clicked, it will notify the housing provider immediately, and the housing provider will have the option to propose multiple/specific times, and these timing will be introduced to the student user. Once the student user accepts, both parties will see this event in their calendar as a shared appointment. An early reminder will be sent to both parties before the scheduled viewing via email and in their news feeds.
You can not delete your rental history. If there is a misinformation regarding your rental history, report it to RAH.. If the content violates our policy or it is fraud, the system will remove it immediately.
A shared appointment is an event shared between you and another account (housing provider or tenant). Once it is created, you can not edit it, only delete. The other person will be notified if the shared appointment is deleted.
You can only sign pdf files. When you click on sign options, it will allow you to sign this document or request other users to sign it. Only student and verified/paid housing providers accounts can access this feature.
