RAHousing (RAH) is a community-driven online housing platform that connects student tenants to Housing Providers across North America. Our goal is to promote safe living conditions and improve the relationship between tenants and housing providers.
Our services include, but are not limited to: Property Listings, Housing Reviews, Housing History Check, Housing Score, Tenant's Housing Recommendation, Online Payments, Housing News, etc.
As a Student Brand Ambassador, your main goal is to increase RAH’s visibility on your campus through social media, seminars, special events and networking. This is an unpaid part-time position that can lead to full-time employment. Ability to take initiative and work remotely is desirable.
Advocate for safe, fair and comfortable living conditions for students and encourage good tenant practices. Use your existing connections and your networking skills to build and strengthen RAH partnerships with clubs and other organizations on your campus. Educate students on current housing issues and how RAH can prevent and lower these situations. Leverage your social media networks to get students to share their housing experience and encourage housing providers to publish listings.
Must be affiliated with a university or college in Ontario province. Must be involved in at least two campus clubs and take initiative to expand their network even further. Quick learner, independent, clever, and solution-oriented. Experience with all types of social media platforms, Canva and Hootsuite is a mandatory. Graphic Design experience is a plus.

As a Web Developer, you will be working closely with the Platform Development Team to build, improve and maintain the integrate features within the system. This is an unpaid part-time position that can lead to full-time employment. Ability to take initiative and work remotely is desirable. This position reports to the Senior Web Developer.
Research and develop suitable features and improve current ones on the RAH platform. Lead and mentor junior programmers. Offer input on project proposals, strategies, and deliverables. Set goals for junior teams you manage. Assist Senior Web Developer as needed.
Minimum bachelor’s degree. In-depth knowledge of PHP, MySQL, relational database design. Familiarity with HTML, JS, jQuery, version control systems (Git, SVN) and Linux based web hosting systems/command line interfaces. Excellent communication skills, eagerness to learn, great at time management, meeting deadlines and goal oriented. At least 5 years of experience in programming an asset. Ability to work in a team environment and independently.

As a Marketing Intern, your main goal will be to develop creative, engaging content for both paper and digital base markets as well as analyzing results from each campaign to improve current practices. Our ideal candidate is someone who is internet savvy and on top of popular internet trends. You will report to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
Create engaging and dynamic posts that promotes our work, news & values in all of our social media platforms. Work under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Communication in revising and implementing year’s marketing strategy. Aid Director of Marketing & Communication to create a progressive outreach and marketing strategy plan. Analyze and implement findings from social platform’s insights to increase awareness and maximize outreach & organic growth. Comfortable working in a fast paced environment, as part of your job will be to respond to and keep up with events as they occur throughout the day. Participating in calls and emails with partners, under the guidance of the Director of Marketing & Communication, online advertisements, data analysis and content optimization. Aid Director of Marketing & Communication as necessary.
Excellent verbal and written skills. Fluent in social media consumption and sharing trends. Ability to stay on top of and ahead of content promotion trends. Go-getter and an out-of-the-box thinker. Data-driven, analytical mindset - you are interested in improving and experimenting with your methods to get the most out of every opportunity. Basic Google Sheets/Excel, Word Document proficiency. Experience with Photoshop/Pixlr or any other relevant software. Experience using social media aiding tools an asset.
